The butyl sealant coating machine is a coating equipment for butyl rubber on both sides of the insulated glass aluminum frame. The operation steps are as follows:
1. Preparation work: Prepare the aluminum spacers that need to be coated, and check whether the parameters of the coating machine are normal.
2. Adjust equipment: Adjust the coating speed, pressure, temperature and other parameters of the coating machine as needed to ensure that the coating quality meets the requirements.
3. The butyl sealant coating machine is in solid form at room temperature and must be melted at a high temperature of 110-150°C before it can be used. Because butyl rubber conducts heat slowly, it must be heated for 20-30 minutes (depending on the temperature) to completely melt. Therefore, it is required that the rubber tank and rubber head should be heated (insulated at 110-150°C) before each use of the machine, and the rubber can be melted before work can begin.
4. Monitor the coating quality: Butyl rubber must not be broken or the aluminum spacers should be exposed white, which is a key factor affecting the life of the insulating glass. Ensure coating uniformity and thickness meet requirements.
5. Complete coating: After coating is completed, turn off the switch of the coating machine, clean the residue and waste materials of the coating machine, and keep the coating machine clean.
