The quality and workmanship of butyl sealant play a key role in the entire insulating glass production process. The butyl sealant applied on the aluminum spacer must be full and even, and there must be no sealant breakage. If there is a problem with the quality or workmanship of the butyl sealant, it will cause air leakage in the insulating glass;
The quality of the molecular sieve is also very important. The filling rate must be above 80%. The aluminum spacer filled with the molecular sieve must be combined within a specified time. If exposed to the air for a long time, the insulating glass will leak;
For peripheral sealant, we must choose qualified silicone sealant or structural sealant. The sealant must be applied fully. If there are gaps in the sealant, it will also cause air leakage in the insulating glass.
