As we all know, the plate press, as a machine for inflating and pressing insulating glass, has always occupied an important position in the insulating glass production line.
But why does the glass sometimes break during assembling in the plate press? There are mainly the following reasons.
1. The glass itself has defects, such as edge collapse, scratches or dark cracks. Be sure to check carefully before loading;
2. The machine parameters are not adjusted properly. Excessive pressure, too fast pressing speed or uneven temperature will cause unbalanced force on the glass. It must be accurately adjusted according to the thickness of the glass;
3. Irregular operation, inaccurate glass alignment, uneven suction of the suction cup or transmission vibration are all easy to cause breakage. Operators should strictly follow the regulations;
4. Environmental factors. Large temperature difference or high humidity in the workshop will affect the strength of the glass. It is recommended to maintain constant temperature and humidity. If broken glass occurs frequently, it is recommended to contact the manufacturer to debug the machine to ensure that the process matches the glass specifications.
