When using a butyl sealant coating machine, it often happens that the butyl sealant does not stick to the aluminum frame. So what is the reason for this phenomenon?

Improper surface treatment of the aluminum frame: If the surface of the aluminum frame is not properly treated, such as grinding, degreasing, cleaning, it will result in insufficient adhesion to butyl sealant.

Butyl sealant coating problem: When applying butyl sealant, if there are uneven or bubbles, it will affect the bonding effect with the aluminum frame.

Butyl sealant quality or expiration issues: Using poor quality or expired butyl sealant will cause its bonding strength to decrease.

Insufficient bonding temperature: Butyl sealant needs to be bonded at a certain temperature. If the temperature is not up to standard, the bonding force will be affected.

Deformation of the aluminum frame: If the aluminum frame is deformed during processing or transportation, it will reduce the contact area with butyl sealant, thereby affecting the adhesion.
